Hey there! Justin here, the owner of kรถncept.
At an early age I found myself drawn to architecture and the built environment. This fostered a passion for residential construction and pursuing a degree in architecture. While obtaining my degree from the University of Minnesota, I began framing homes to better understand the technical details and construction of how homes were built.
After graduation, I had the unique opportunity to work with a lumber supplier on floor, wall and roof assemblies. This furthered my technical understanding of these components and how to design within those limitations.
I then took a position with a local home builder where I was able to hone my craft and assist building industry leading plans and options through constant collaboration with our trades and team.
I was able to take my previous skills and apply them to a national builder where efficiencies and volume of scale were crucial. Really understanding the product and process were essential to the success of a project and community.
Keeping true to my passion, it was a matter of time before I found myself working with a local builder again, designing custom homes. I had the opportunity to step into a project management role working directly with the homeowners to develop initial concepts and take them through to the construction of their new home.
Fast forward to today, I am excited to share all of those experiences with you in designing your new home. My true passion is working directly with my clients and collaborating on their dreams and visions, and nothing is more rewarding than seeing those kรถncepts come to life.
