Parade Of Homes in Minnesota | Featuring Model #307.

What better way to wrap up the last week of the Spring Parade of Homes in Minnesota than to feature this stunning custom home in Stillwater. In collaboration with Style & Structure, we designed this modified two-story complete with 4 beds, 2.5 baths, custom beam details throughout and the perfect little reading nook.

A total of 3,533 square feet, this custom home has the presence of a two story but lives like a rambler, also known as a ranch for you non-Minnesotan’s ;) It’s modern yet rustic space exudes a warm welcome with tall vaulted ceilings, white and black accents throughout and of course the highlight of the home, the custom beams that ground the large living space.

A continuous vault runs through the living, dining and kitchen space and is defined by warm, rich beams that were custom made by Manomin Resawn Timbers. The spacious kitchen is the perfect area for entertaining, completed with a duo fridge and freezer and an oversized pantry, allowing for extra space and storage.

Open shelving in the kitchen allows for even more storage while maintaining a light and airy feeling with lots of natural light. The crown jewel is the custom hood with a timber mantel which is also mirrored at the fireplace, at the posing side of the room.

As people tour the home during the Parade of Homes in Minnesota they often overlook the separate owner’s suite. This space is concealed behind the stairs through a private reading nook, one of our favorite features.

Another one of our favorite places in the home is the master bathroom. Details that make up this space include mirrored pocket doors for his and her closets, a warm herringbone tiled floor that’s heated, separate vanities and a free standing tub - making this space feel like you’re at the spa.

And since we’re on the topic of bathrooms, don’t forget to check out the boys’ bathroom upstairs. The oversized trough style sink is a one-of-a-kind custom piece that says “bros” on the front. Incorporating unique pieces like this 600 lb. concrete sink is one of our favorite things about designing custom homes.

Even though we are sad to see the Parade of Homes in Minnesota come and go, we could not be more delighted about the outcome of model #307.

This home has been quite the talk around town and we are so thrilled that it’s gotten the attention it deserves. If you haven’t gotten out and explored this home on the Parade of Homes in Minnesota, be sure to add it to your list and get out and enjoy it this weekend. It’s the last weekend the home is open to the public before we hand the keys over to the happy new home owners.

P.S. we’ll see you at the fall Parade of Homes in Minnesota :) Stay tuned for more on that!
