Women Making a Splash in the Minnesota Home Building Industry.
International Women’s Day, marked annually on March 8th, is an important day to celebrate women’s achievements and today we’re doing just that! In honor of this incredibly important day, we wanted to highlight some of our favorite Minnesota home builders that are woman owned.
So, check out these five incredibly talented women and help us in the celebration of their talents, achievements and incredible eyes for design.
Danielle & Heather - Style & Structure
When it comes to Minnesota home builders, these ladies have it all. Danielle and Heather are a part of the team at Style & Structure, a luxury home building company here in the Twin Cities, and are fun, passionate and know a thing or two about good design.
Danielle, co-owner of Style & Structure, has spent many years renovating and helping clients build their dream homes. Danielle likes a mix of many styles, but what she is known for is bringing out each individual's personality with fun, high end, and unique designs.
Heather, the design and marketing specialist at Style & Structure, coordinates the buyers experience with all of the trades during the selections phase of the custom home process and has a passion for helping the client through all phases of the design. These women are truly an inspiration when it comes to the construction and design industry. Ashley - Home Stylist at Ashley + Louis Design
Meet Ashley…and Louis, of course (hence the name of her business Ashley Louis Design). When it comes to the Minnesota home builders industry, we love ourselves a good stylist! And Ashley does just that.
It all started awhile back when she did her own personal home renovation and she hasn’t stopped since. She focuses on home staging, photo styling, redecorating and interior design services and you’re going to want to follow along - her Instagram is so dreamy! Plus, Louis makes the occasional appearance :)
Ashley has worn many hats in the industry, including real estate coordination, commercial furniture design and marketing for a new home builder. But, her own design business was calling her name. She finds the most joy in helping buyers envision their future home or designing someone’s current home. Anna - Interior Designer Anna Cofrin Designs
Next up, Anna, an incredibly talented interior designer! Anna has worked in the Minnesota home builders industry for a little over four years now and loves collaborating alongside her clients to design the home of their dreams. Her passion for the selections process truly shows when she takes her clients through every room and every detail, making the spaces unique to their design style. Anna’s creativity and eagerness to try new things reflects through the stunning work she creates.
Her favorite room in the home is the bathroom, claiming that it’s a space for relaxing but also because it’s an easy room to redecorate. By simply changing out towel rings or curtains, you can reinvent this space over and over again. It also allows for fun, bold statements such as a wallpaper feature or a stunning chandelier.

Kirsten - Alma Homes
And last but not least, Kirsten, one of our favorite Minnesota home builders who runs her own business, Alma Homes.
Alma Homes is a boutique builder, meaning that they intentionally take on fewer projects each year so they have more time to focus on their clients. Their four main values are high quality craftsmanship, cutting edge design, efficient timelines, and most importantly, their clients, who ultimately feel like family. Working with amazing people is just one of the many things Kirsten loves about her job.

There are SO many more incredibly talented women in the building and construction industry that we’d love to feature.
